See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com Perfume River Cruise "Due to lack of planning, not enough time and indecision I will not be able to do a tour of the demilitarized zone here in Hue. Jen and I debated all the options for so long that when I went to book it I couldn’t! No more space :( Instead we did a cruise on the Perfume River (called that why? Didn't smell that great). This tour was to check out some tombs of past kings. However the day was smoking hot! And I only managed one tomb. I did see some other stuff too, but only one tomb. Just too hot! I swear I have never been anywhere hotter and the lack of air con is distressing! Still it was nice cruising up and down the river and Jen and I once more had an excuse to chat and catch up! I swear we haven't stopped talking! So nice to talk to someone you have history with, I've missed it. Tomorrow we are heading to Hoi An. There we will spend a couple days getting some clothes made and checking out the sights. Rumor has it there is a decent beach and we both could use a chill day on the beach. Hopefully it won't be as hot in Hoi An, but I doubt it. BTW - questions have been raised about how I can eat here and the answer is to learn how to say "Vegetarian" in each language. Also many restaurants have English writing. The only problem has been the street eating I've done and even that isn't an issue. I just say ...
