How Lebanon’s Hezbollah twists logic

Hezbollah TV Almanar comments on an ad by a rival TV against their armed militia. The ad shows a man shielding his grandson behind a wall, while his daughter takes shelter behind them on May 7, 2008, when Hezbollah’s fighters swept rival areas in Beirut and Southern Mount Lebanon. Hezbollah's TV talks to the three to prove that the bullets were being fired from the "Future Party" fighters. How could three scared civilians hiding behind a wall know who was shooting at them? The answer is in the fact that Hezbollah discovered that the three were Shiites, and therefore wanted them to speak against the Sunni Future Party. Notice how the woman says "nothing in the footage was true" (what nothing in a footage showing her scared and hiding)? When the TV anchor interviews the kid, she asks him: Are you afraid of bullets? Then finally, Hezbollah TV argues the shooting was by the same people who were shooting during an earlier event near Beirut Arab University, and during the May 7 event in the north, and during the Day of Rafe in Beirut (notice how during the footage of the days of rage, there are cars burning, but no shooting). Almanar wanted to imply that the three were scared of Future Party militants shooting, a far fetched scenario, but still, the Hezbollah TV can try.
