Gung-Fu/Kung-fu PLAY during a class Details
Gung-Fu/Kung-fu PLAY during a class
www.GungFuWuSu.com My oldest brother (Blue and White) and I (Black) in 1995 doing some light/moderate Kung-fu play or sparring. To all geniuses out there that try to judge Kungfu or me by this only, this is a CLASS, not a real fight. True Gung-fu (Kung-fu) has everything in the system you find in any other martial art on the planet. From stepping, ground fighting, locking, wrestling, throwing, escapes, holds, chokes, vital point, internal/external, hard/soft, iron body and hand training, handicapped fighting as well as weapons and so much more. This may not look as flashy, but it’s more real fighting, not like a movie or wild, random, low level techniques like in many other martial arts today. It has fast and slow parts because there is testing, set up, feints (like some of the slapping) and such. In Gung-fu, there are specific rules and theories for each strike that almost none know about anymore because it takes longer to master, but this assures that many more of your strikes land effectively where as some other arts just throw out their hands and legs and "hope for the best" style of fighting... that's not skill, it's just a "Football" style of fighting and luck. Note that this is still PLAY, not KILL each other, so that's why there are periods of slowness and testing in it. Since my brother had a lot of problems controlling himself and liked to be aggressive as he used to be a body builder and still was at this time, this play session was done in a much harder manner
