It goes about forever up into the mountains and then eventually dead-ends at this beautiful lake in the mountains. You could notice the temperature difference when we got up into the mountains, which was nice. Personally, I found the +20 degrees in town too warm. As it was May, the lake was still frozen, maybe a few weeks from break-up. There was also a marsh, or a swamp as some would say, but my **** digital camera ate my photos of it. It was okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it - I've seen far "prettier" marshes. Fish Lake Road Ascend this 15-km road to a beautiful sub-alpine valley, crossing the TransCanada Trail and a wetlands viewing gazebo at McIntryre Creek. Watch for the Pueblo Mine Memorial Plaque commemorating the Yukon's worst mining disaster in 1917. At the end of the road is a boat launch, plus endless ridges for hiking and trail riding.
