After Troy (Zac Efron)'s "betrayal" and torn relationship and friendship between Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and the Wildcats, the Wildcats moved on without him, and challenged Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) into a game of baseball, ultimately Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu) and his team won, and Ryan lost, but slowly they had an uneasy frienship of some sorts. Gabrielle is the new lifeguard, while Troy, Chad, and the others work in the kitchen. At the country club there is a talent show, which Sharpay and Ryan win every year.
