민주당 '한나라 세종시 쇼' 했나? : 공천,금상진,민주당,선거,세종시,중도일보,지방선거,천안,한나라당,후보ㆍ영상길이 : 05:35ㆍ등록자 : 중도일보ㆍ등록일시 : 2010.04.22 (18:45) 한나라당 공천이 확정된 충남지역 일부 시장·군수 후보들이 세종시 문제에 대해 “당론을 따르겠다”며 사실상 수정안 찬성입장을 보이자 야당이 일제히 반발하고 나섰다. 이를 계기로 그동안 천안함 사태로 수면 아래로 가라앉았던 세종시 수정안 문제가 6·2지방선거에 쟁점으로 부각될 전망이다. 민주당 충남지역 지방선거 출마자들은 21일 오전 천안시청 브리핑실에서 기자회견을 갖고, 한나라당 후보들이 밝힌 세종시 당론 수용발언에 대해 “지금까지 쇼를 했느냐”며 비난의 목소리를 높였다. 이들은 특히 “아산시장 후보에게 세종시를 물어보는 것은 넌센스다. 세종시 문제는 도지사 후보에게 물어보라”고 발언한 임좌순 아산시장후보와 당론 수용발언을 주도한 성무용 천안시장과 민종기 당진군수를 겨냥해 “세종시 수정안 찬성을 공약으로 내걸고 심판을 받으라”고 압박했다. 박완주 민주당 충남도당 대변인은 “한나라당 후보들은 국토균형발전이란 시대적 과제도, 지역민의 간절한 염원도 대통령의 서슬퍼런 권력 앞에서 별 가치를 느끼지 못했던 것 같다”며 “공천에 대한 충성서약 메시지를 확실히 보여준 이들에게 연민의 정이 느껴지고 서글프기까지 하다”고 조소했다. 이어 “양두구육(羊頭狗肉)이 한나라당 충남 출마자들의 겉다르고 속달랐던 입장을 비유하기 적절한 말”이라며 “그들의 발언은 소신이 바뀌었기 보?는 본마음을 솔직하게 표현한 '커밍아웃'”이라고 비꼬았다. 박 대변인은 “이렇게 쇼를 하는 것보다 차라리 뒤로 빠져주는 것이 우리 충청인을 도와주는 길이 될 것”이라며 “이번 선거에서 오만방자함으로 수도권과 지역을 망치는 한나라당을 심판하고 충청의 자존심을 세울 것”이라고 강조했다. 박완주 대변인은 “임좌순 후보와 민종기 군수는 과거 우리 당(열린우리당)소속이었다. 이들 모두 세종시 원안 추진을 공약했던 사람들로 지역 대표인지 한나라당의 대표인지 묻지 않을 수 없다”며 “세종시 수정안을 당당하게 공약으로 내세우고 유권자들의 심판을 받으라”고 압박했다. 선진당 충남도당도 한나라당 후보들의 발언에 논평을 내고 “한나라당 기초단체장 후보들이 충남사람 맞느냐”고 반문하고 “도민들은 정부의 세종시 ...
