Er ist Direktor des HWWI, des Hamburgischen WeltWirtschaftsInstituts. Herr Straubhaar, neben dem Export läuft auch die Inlandsnachfrage wieder besser. Steht der deutsche Aufschwung jetzt auf zwei Beinen? Thomas Straubhaar: Ja. Und es ist auch erfreulich, dass es jetzt eben zwei Beine sind und nicht mehr nur das eine des Exports. Damit wird dieser Aufschwung auch nachhaltiger werden können. Wobei wir uns keine Illusionen machen sollten. Dieser Aufschwung vor allem jetzt, im Jahr 2010, ist auch den Konjunkturmaßnahmen geschuldet. Die werden nächstes Jahr fehlen, deshalb haben wir den Höhepunkt wohl schon überschritten. Aber es wird auch nächstes Jahr ein gutes Jahr werden. DW-TV: Was muss dann denn getan werden, um diesen Aufschwung zu stabilisieren? Vor allem in Fragen des Konsums. Da fordert ja auch zum Beispiel der Wirtschaftsminister höhere Löhne. Thomas Straubhaar: Das ist eine Forderung, die man sicher so stellen kann. Wenn sie aber allgemein vorgetragen wird, ist es eine gefährliche Forderung. Weil das, was für den einen Betrieb vielleicht absolut bezahlbar ist, ist für den anderen Betrieb möglicherweise zu viel. Ich denke, entscheidend auch für diesen Aufschwung und gerade auch dafür, dass sich der Konsum jetzt positiv entwickelt, ist die Beschäftigungslage. Noch nie haben so viele Menschen in Deutschland sozialversicherungspflichtig gearbeitet wie in diesem Jahr. Das heißt, man hat in dem Sinne Lohnzurückhaltung gegen Arbeitsmarktsicherheit getauscht. Das ist für den Konsum genauso wichtig. DW-TV: Und das sollte dann auch so bleiben. Keine höheren Löhne für mehr Arbeitsplätze? Thomas Straubhaar: Nein, das würde ich nicht sagen.
