Bswadd’s travel blog entry: "Well today is a day of a dream coming true... seeing the many colours of fall in NE USA. Check out the photos... they are real, gorgeous, impacting! It is certainly wonderful to spend time with family, my sister, Nelda, and her family, Stephen, Hugh and Liam, living in Chester, NJ, less than an hour west of New York. This is true America, with the typical fall shots of autumn leaves, American flags, pumpkins and Halloween things on the fence posts and doors steps. We spent much of the day just wandering around the streets of Chester, Mendham, and other surrounding areas, rapidly taking photos at every turn. A real highlight was visiting Hacklebarney Farm where people collect their pumpkins for Halloween. The day was filled with brilliant autumn sunshine, loads of apple pie, corn, jellies... and all things 'fall'. Some of the homes in this area were incredible, massive to say the least, wonderfully green and landscaped, all with basements, three garages, many with turrets and other interesting features. From a family perspective we had the privilege of celebrating Hugh's 16th birthday at a Japanese restaurant... our first non-Italian meal... and it was wonderful!
