Entry for JLO6173 Contest *Part 1*

"A temporary home... a temporary home... I’ll be back home soon" is what I always told myself as I entered my new foster homes for the first time. I'm Katie, I'm 25 years old, and I live in a small town in Georgia. I just gave birth to my 1st child and her name is Megan Nicole Jonas. Yes, you heard the last name correctly. My last name is Jonas. I married a Jonas Brother, Nick, to be exact about 5 years ago. Here's how it all started... From what I've heard, my mother died right after giving birth to me, and my father abandoned me when I was 2 months old. Going to each foster home always made me feel unhappy. I knew I was just their paycheck from the government. That they didn't really care about me. I never felt loved during my entire life, until I met Nick. My foster mom had taken me to a Jonas Brothers Concert for my 15th birthday, and Nick was 17 at the time. I guess she knew someone who could get us backstage, but I was SOO excited to meet him. It had been the concert of my dreams, their angelic voices, their perfect curly hair, and that perfect sparkle in their eyes. When we met backstage, we immediately hit it off. It was PERFECT! Actually, at first, Nick didn't think it was so perfect. Which, I don't blame him.
