Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Las Vegas Race Highlights Details
Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Las Vegas Race Highlights
Monster Energy Presents exclusive coverage of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series opener at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway 3/6/10 3/7/10. Qualifying was held on Friday. Johnny Greaves and Jeremy McGrath qualified well (on pole) and were put in the front of the pack for Saturdays race. Unfortunately both had issues during the competition - McGrath broke a tie rod on the second lap of Saturdays Pro-2 race, while Johnny broke his drive shaft on the last lap while battling Scott Douglas for the win. In the Pro-Lite Class, Casey Currie charged through the pack after being caught behind a spectacular crash in turn two. He passed an astounding fifteen trucks to finish fifth! Sundays race action found McGrath starting in the twenty-fourth position. He clawed his way past twenty trucks to finish fourth, calling the race "The most fun I’ve ever had in a truck, in 30 minutes!". Rick Huseman, competing in the Pro-4 division, started Sundays race in first place, took the hole shot, and drove away with the win.
