Hardy Hall and the Crispins in 1968

Hardy Hall Farm in 1968 In 1968, when I was 15, I found my father’s old 16mm camera, cleaned it up, bought some film and took some movies. Until recently, I thought they were lost for good. Jim Weisiger found them and sent them back to me. Some of those films are shown here to be seen once again. The first vignette is a new colt, born in the spring to one of Ned McNerland's mares. The second is of Uncles Gene and Warren Myers taking a respite during a 1968 Hardy Hall Family Reunion Visit. They had been postulating about the good old "horse drawn farming days of Mulberry Grove." The next thing that happened was they were dragging a horse drawn harrow arond the garden and having a ball! Big sister, Sally, is shown getting ready for another day's work at Hardy Hall. Love that hair! Finally shown is a rare, quiet family Sunday evening after the restaurant had closed for the day with most of Kay's five children, the the boys, Dan, Jon and Bill along with family friend Terry Kirsten sitting in Hardy Hall's
