The Dimensions of God’s Love Ephesians 3:14-19 Whom does Paul pray for? v 14-15—the whole family of Christians What does Paul pray for? v 16-19— (1) to be strengthened inwardly with the Holy Spirit’s power (2) to be rooted and established in God’s love (3) to know and be filled with this love which surpasses knowledge How do we ever know God’s love? v 18--By grasping its dimensions Measure God’s love by the Bible’s most famous verse-- John 3:16. 1. How wide is God’s love? God so loved the world. 2. How long is God’s love? He gave His only Son. 3. How deep is God’s love? Whoever believes in Him shall not perish. 4. How high is God’s love? Whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life. God wants everyone to receive His love. Receive His love by receiving His Son Jesus as your Savior!
