Breakout Kings: Interview with Domenick Lombardozzi: Previous Star of the HBO Hit Show "The Wire"

NewsWatch Spoke recently spoke with Domenick Lombardozzi, Star of the new A&E Show, Breakout Kings. Domenick Lombardozzi is best known for his roles on Entourage and The Wire. He’s one of Film & TV's favorite tough guys, and now he's playing a US marshall teaming up with ex-cons to track down prison escapees in A&E's original new series Breakout Kings. The new drama comes from the creators of Prison Break. Bronx-born Domenick Lombardozzi first gained fame after attending an open casting call in his own neighborhood and winning the role of Nicky Zero in Robert De Niro's directing debut, A Bronx Tale. He soon followed with For the Love of the Game, The Yards, Phone Booth, SWAT and the Emmy Award-winning HBO movie 61*. His role as flawed Baltimore police detective, "Herc," in the critically acclaimed HBO series The Wire, made top Hollywood directors stand up and take notice and he soon found himself starring in such films as Miami Vice, Public Enemies, and cast in a recurring role on Entourage. Most recently, Lombardozzi was seen in director James L. Brooks' romantic comedy, How Do You Know. This talented and personable actor now stars in A&E Network's original scripted drama series, Breakout Kings, from the writers/producers of the hit series Prison Break. The new action-packed ensemble drama follow an unconventional partnership between the US Marshals' office and a group of convicts as they work to catch fugitives on the run.
