Blue chip discovery & Devoucoux star quals. ♥

well..... don’t really know where to start tbh! Went to fieldhouse on saturday, did the blue chip 1m quals had 3 down, but had a hurrendous journey there... basically had a car pull out infront of us at a roundabout, and doesnt matter how careful my dad always is, we had to brake to avoid hitting them... we dont know why, we think the rubber mats must have been slippy and damp, but niamh fell over, i jumped through the cut through and went to check her to find her lying in her partition, with her head stuck above her haynet because her rope ad caught over the head barriers. was so scary, and i honestly couldn't be more proud of her... she panicked, and then as soon as i came through the door and she could hear me, she settled and just lay an waited for us to pull up and be able to get the ramp down to untie her rope (i couldnt reach, and she was trapped right from where my access to it would be) so... as you can expect, we were expecting nothing from her after that.. she was so brave, we werent going to jump her, but decided we'd rather have a go, than make her have a 3hour round trip in the lorry... she was VERY spooky in the arena, shes never been there before, and there was lots going on outside the arena, so cant blame her lol! the line of 3 fences we had down - hit the 1st on a funny stride, she backed off the 2nd and wanted to run out because of the spooky stuff outside the arena... bless! then the last, i think id just lost my balance, and because i didnt sit right ...
