Julian Milo - Editing Demo Reel - 2010

This is my music video editing reel. The movies that were used as music video material were edited by their original editor’s. I re-edited them to the new music (mashed-up). 1st bit is a mash-up using the anime "Berserk" and Marilyn Manson's song "Irresponsible Hate Anthem". 2nd bit is a selection from "The Golden Age", a rockumentry directed by Justin Connor, originally edited by me. 3rd bit is a mash-up using the anime "Evangelion" with Radiohead's song "2+2=5". Turn the volume up on that one. 4th bit is a mash-up using several original films with audio by The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy For The Devil". I have also been the lead editor on 2 feature length documentaries, neither of which can be legally shown in my reel as they haven't found their distribution yet. Such is the life of independent documentary film. Since those two features constitute the bulk of my feature editing reel, I'd rather just show you that I can cut. Editing is editing. I'm a person with integrity and am always looking for work. While this reel doesn't show my 2 biggest projects, it does give you an idea of my artistic sensibility.
