和歌山県北部で震度5強 鉄道の一部で運転見合わせ 揺れに驚き過呼吸になった女性搬送か
5日午後7時18分ごろ、近畿地方を中心に広い範囲で地震があり、和歌山県北部で震度5強の揺れを観測した。気象庁によると、震源地は和歌山県北部、震源の深さはおよそ7kmで、地震の規模を示すマグニチュードは5.5と推定され、和歌山・広川町と日高川町で震度5強の揺れを観測した。津波の心配はない。広川町の職員は「ドーンという大きい音とともに、横揺れ。防煙ガラスが1階で割れてたりとか」と話した。JR和歌山駅では「揺れました、横に。ガーッと」といった声が聞かれた。今のところ、けが人や建物に大きな被害があったという報告はないが、有田市で揺れに驚いた女性が過呼吸で病院に搬送されたという情報がある。鉄道では、JR阪和線・紀勢線・和歌山線のそれぞれ一部が運転を見合わせている。
