A l'occasion du cinquantenaire du LOSC, Philippe GOUGLER visite le stade Grimonprez Jooris, en compagnie de Bernard LECOMTE, président de l'équipe lilloise. A travers les témoignages des anciens du LOSC comme Jean VINCENT, Jules BIGOT ou Roger VANDOOREN, des images d'archives de l'INA et une plongée dans les coulisses du stade, nous voyons se dessiner l'histoire de ce club qui connut ses heures de gloire dans les années 50. La carte géographique du LOSC au coeur d'une métropole d'1,5 millions d'habitants et depuis 1975 le stade Grimonprez Jooris accueille les rencontres. Avant c'était au stade Henri Jooris (photo) que ça se passait. C'est là qu'ont fusionnés en 1944 l'Olympique lillois et le Sporting fivois pour donner naissance à une des meilleures équipes du football français dans les dix année qui ont suivi. Avec Bernard LECOMTE le président du LOSC, Stépane GOUGLER va à la rencontre des anciens de la "décade prodigieuse" : Jules BIGOT, Jean VINCENT, Roger VANDOOREN...On les retrouve en images en 1948 lors de la finale de la coupe de France Lille-Lens. Ils racontent comment ils ont forcé la main au président de l'époque quelques minutes avant le match pour avoir une prime plus conséquente, ils se souviennent des retours à Lille avec la coupe. Un document d'archives permet de revoir Jean BARATTE, aujourd'hui disparu, à qui Jean CRINON avait rendu visite dans son café de Saint André. Jean VINCENT parle de Jules BIGOT qu'il a connu comme entraineur en 1949 quand il est arrivé au club ( sur des images de l'entrainement en 1953). On revoit les images de la finale contre Bordeaux en 1955 lors de laquelle il a marqué deux buts. Puis, Bernard LECOMTE fait visiter les installations du stade : salle de musculation, piscine, Marc CUVELIER en train de masser Fabien LECLERCQ, les vestiaires puis le terrain.
