Global temperature dropping?

This is a graph that Climatologist Dr. Roy Spencer updates monthly. This shows global temperature derived from infrared satellite images. This is raw data, not "adjusted" or tampered with so that we have the same database of temperatures for the entire graph, since 1979 when satellite data was first available. First, Dr. Spencer has just added December, which was 0.18 degree warmer than the average. You can see the downward trend over the past several months, which was very predicable knowing the strong La Nina, cold PDO and the fact that we were coming out of an El Nino. The Earth is behaving just like it did in 1998-99 when we had an identical flip from El Nino to La Nina. 1998 was a warm year, and we got our big derecho. 2010 was a warm year, and though we didn’t get a big derecho, the general storm track was in the southern Great Lakes. Minnesota had more tornadoes than any state in the US this summer. Wisconsin had a 2nd highest ever total of 46, and Michigan had 30 twisters, 10 times the total of 2009. So, will our weather in 2011 mirror what happened in 1999? Jan. 1999 ended with 46.8″ of snow and it got pretty cold for about half a month. That year, January was colder than average. February was warmer than average. March was cooler than average with 14.2″ of snow. There are other factors involved, so it's not a perfect match.
