Rock in Rio Music Festival in Lisbon euromaxx takes a look at a unique music festival in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. It doesn't just feature top international artists but is also an event with an unusual fund-raising idea for social projects.This year Rock in Rio is taking place in Lisbon and Madrid. It was founded in 1995 in Brazil and was first held in Portugal in 2004. Madrid has staged the event since 2008. This year's line-up includes top names such as Shakira, Elton John and Leona Lewis. Senior Surfing in SyltA documentary film by German filmmaker Jörg Hennessen shows how surfing began some fifty years ago on the island of Sylt. The first surfers, local bodyguards, didn't know that people in other parts of the world were already taking part in the sport and thought they had invented something completely new.
