By providing JPEG images at a refresh rate of up to 30 fps (frames-per-second), 50 users can simultaneously monitor the camera feed with near-motion, VGA-level quality. With a robust set of features and functionality, the SNT-V501 can convert your existing analog surveillance camera into an IP-based monitoring system, making it ideal for today’s growing network-based monitoring needs. The Sony SNT-V501 utilizes BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) connectors for its one analog composite-video input as well as its loop-through video output. This unit includes 32 MB of RAM with eight MB of flash memory, and utilizes the NTSC TV signal system to achieve a maximum resolution of 704 x 480 effective pixels. The SNT-V501 connects to the network via a 10/100 base-T Ethernet connection, and includes one alarm input and two alarm outputs for connecting to external devices.
