Mothers Day

The poem "I’ll love you forever, I'll like you for always" is from a childrens book written by Robert Munsch. My mother used to read this story to me all the time (like it or not). It took forever but I finally tracked down a beautiful music rendition of the poem performed by The independent. I like that fact that the song isnt sad slow and contemporary, the jazziness really emulates the controlled chaos of being a mother. The picture itself is really typical of my style. I'm really good with sunsets so I decided to stick with my guns on this one. there was no plan for the picture it was supposed to be a product of the mood that the music created (how did I do? =D). it annoys me a little that this work is so much like some of my others but whatever thats just who I am. Naturally this Mothers Day card is dedicated to my mother. Thanks for having me mom (mor eimportantly thanks for keeping me)
