MS Queen Victoria at South Queensferry (Edinburgh), Scotland

On Friday 30th July 2010 as part of her mainden round Britain cruise the Cunard ocean liner "MS Queen Victoria" was docked at Hounds Point off South Queensferry, just outside of Edinburgh. The tour boat "The Forth Belle" was sailing from the pier at North Queensferry that day, as South Queensferry’s pier was being used to shuttle the passengers to and fro. We sailed around 3.30pm, out under the magnificent Forth Rail Bridge, past the Queen Victoria and out to Inchcolm Island, where passengers can depart and get the next boat back (£4.50 to Historic Scotland if you do this). We then sailed back, round the Queen Victoria, where passengers were waving to us, and under both the Forth Rail Bridge and Forth Road Bridge before returning to the pier at North Queensferry around 5pm. £10 well spent and I got oogles of great photos too!
