Coffee: The Big Cobama

Coffee maker with a 3000 ml water bath. Standard Bodum french press spare glasses with 3 different volumes, but same diameter. 500 ml, 800 ml and 1000 ml reaction vessels are for 4 , 6 and a maximum of 8 (tiny) cups of coffee. The PID temperature-controlled water bath keeps the coffee temperature always in the recommended range between 92 and 96 C during brewing and therefore can produce a great coffee taste. Material costs are about 400 EUR, but the taste of the brew is well-worth it. Could be built much cheaper with simpler components though. Room for improvement still: Considerable amounts of fines are produced by the coffee grinder and unneccessarily increase extraction rate. Plan: With a DIY sieve shaker very fast a lot of fines could be removed and still the coffee grounds would be rather fresh, when they are inserted in the reaction vessel. Then the taste could be even better! Results will be posted in this video comment. Until the sieve shaker is ready, my morning coffee parameters vary around this constellation: 3:00 minutes brewing time, 400 ml spring water, 30.60 g Yirgacheffe coffee beans, Baratza Virtuoso Preciso mill setting 32F, water bath temperature 95.5 C = reaction vessel temperature vefore inserting coffee grounds.
