Minecraft 1.6 Update - How To Farm

Farming has now changed as of the 1.6 update - Please read the description for futher details A video for Minecraft Region! :D Changes - Gain seeds from large grass or 'shrubs' as they’re called, simply hit them and there is a chance you will get a seed Seeds are for wheat - planting wheat makes bread, 3 wheat makes bread. Bread heals 2.5 hearts Hoeing grass - Right click on grass whilst having a hoe equip to make the grass turn fertile, which is required for planting seeds. The grass that is fertile needs to be next to a water source, you can move water to a location using a bucket of water. buckets can be made using 3 iron, making the shape in the work bench. Wheat usually takes 1 to 2 MINECRAFT DAYS to grow Sugar cane Can be found near water sources on your minecraft world, simply hit the sugar cane, grab the sugar cane, and plant it next to a water source (does not require hoeing the ground) Sugar cane can grow up to 3 pieces Once the sugar cane has reached it's peak of 3 pieces hit the second piece of the sugar cane to gain 2 sugar cane pieces, and allowing the bottom piece to grow into more sugar cane Sugar cane can be used to make paper (which is used for making books and maps, books are used for making book cases) and sugar (sugar can be used for making cakes, however cakes require additional ingredients to create) Thanks for watching Any questions?
