Reviewer’s Note: The raw food coach, Karen Knowler is back with a new session of raw food know-how and this video shows you how to grow wheat grass and indoor greens. The sprouted wheat grains are now taken and spread over the compost in a way that it is not too dense or too sparse. To get a good yield, the grains has to be spread in such a way that very little soil/compost can be seen. The tray with the soil and the sprouts is then sprinkled with some water that would help them send their roots down into the soil. The tray now is to be kept in the dark for 3 days for effective germination since the sprouts were not really sown. The tray can be kept in a cupboard or wrapped over the top with a black plastic sheet or even covered with another tray (without holes in it). After 3 days when the tray is taken out, one will see tiny white shoots of the wheatgrass. They will be white because they still haven’t come into contact with sunlight which helps turn them green. The tray is now ready to be kept in the sunlight with regular watering to keep the tiny plants growing. It should be watered at least twice a day in the warm weather. It is best to keep the tray with t...
