ABC NEWS 4’S JON BRUCE HAS MORE. (TAKE PKG) 37 year old timothy shaun taylor of McClellanville now at the center of an investigation spanning three counties and more than a decade. Charleston County Sheriff Al Cannon says his detectives are searching for connections between the drexel case, last weeks attempted abduction and an unsolved murder. (sot @ ' Shaun lives in an area about a mile away from brittannies last known cell phone activity...a mile away. track the similarities dont stop there. in 2001 Taylors brother Randall was charged with the 1998 disappearance and murder of 19 year old shannon McCaugnahey. her body was found in the francis marion forest - not far from the northern charleston county area the taylors call home. police say she was sexually abused and shot - but did not have enough evidence to pursue the case.
