VGVN E3 2011 Audition

This is my submission for the VGVN E3 2011 Insider contest. My name is Jordan Hedges. I’m 22 years old and currently studying graphic design at Northern Arizona University. This was way too great an oppertunity to pass up, so I bring you a brief video covering a Digital Carnival. These gaming events have been going on at NAU for four years now with the intent to get gamers out of their dorm rooms and playing their games together. This particular event featured a Pokemon B&W and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament. I interviewed one contestant from each tournament and a few others, but unfortunately only the former made it into the video. I had a hard time cramming everything into three minutes. :) I hope the elements on the event poster and the game footage don't violate any of the contest rules. If anyone from the VGVN or otherwise could let me know soon enough, I'll resubmit my video. Thank you VGVN for this oppertunity and for everything you've done for the video game community. NOTE: The microphone is a prop. I didn't have the equipment to properly make use of one with a camera (I used my phone). I just wanted to get used to holding one. The logo on the mic is NOT the actual VGVN logo, just a quick graphic I created to look similar.
