1日から節電に加え、値上げラッシュが生活を直撃する。電気料金は、全国の電力10社が48円〜110円の幅で値上げし、東京電力の場合、5カ月連続のアップとなる。また、東京ガスなどのガス料金も、燃料の高騰から4カ月連続の値上げとなった。一部の航空会社では、燃油サーチャージが値上げされる。さらに、小麦粉の高騰が食卓を直撃するとみられている。大手食品会社は1日から、パンやパスタなどの値上げに踏み切った。家庭だけでなく、節電や高速上限1,000円の廃止がダブルパンチとなった業界からも悲鳴が上がっている。ついにやって来た節電の夏、そしてとき同じくして値上げの夏が到来した。1日から、パンの価格について、山崎製パンで平均5%、敷島製パンでおよそ160品目、平均で7%と、製パン各社で値上げをした。世界的な穀物価格の高騰を受け、1日から大手食品会社はパスタに天ぷら粉など、数百品目の小麦製品を一斉値上げした。消費者は「買いだめしてます。(小麦粉)10kgぐらい」、「パンは最近よく食べますし、麺類も食べますから、やっぱりちょっと痛いですね。価格が転嫁されると、生活が困りますね」と話した。こうした中、この夏、小麦だけではなく、二重苦に陥っている店がある。都内にあるベーカリー「パナデリーヤティグレ」では、一月で小麦粉代がおよそ1万円増えるというが、値上げは行わないという。1日30kg近い小麦粉を使うため、小麦の高騰が長引けば、今の価格が維持できなくなり、パンを小さくするといった苦肉の策も検討しているという。何としてでも避けたい値上げ。客は「(値上がりしたらどうしますか?)やっぱり来る回数はもちろん減ってしまうと思います」、「これからごはんに、替えていこうかなと思います、朝も」と話した。さらにこのベーカリーは、小麦だけでなく、節電というダブルパンチに見舞われている。パナデリーヤティグレの望月哲二シェフは「15%というのは、ちょっと到底無理だと思います、それは」と話した。店内やショーケースの照明を一部消し、さらに、電気量のほとんどを占める大型電気オーブンも、2時間30分早く電源を落とすなどの節電対策を行っているが、15%の削減は不可能に近いという。一方、香川県名物、讃岐うどんは、小麦と高速のダブルパンチを食らっている。おいしさとそして安さが魅力の讃岐うどんもピンチになっている。ある店では、1日からうどんを20円値上げした。客は「香川のね、讃...
