Brenda arrived the next day and we checked into a new hotel. You can't even imagine what you get for $16.00 a night--a very charming, high ceiling, comfy bed hotel room with free Wifi. I spent yesterday cruising the city and taking in the sights. Got a $8 dollar hot stone massage and people watched. Brenda and I met for dinner and watched an electrical rain storm over looking the square. It was surreal. Brenda is one of the travelers,I was introduced to through Ann and I am glad she did. I have grown to know Brenda through our travels through Vietnam and I am fortunate enough to have had the chance to get to know this extraordinary women. Along the way we have shared laughs, adventures and life lessons. She is women with an open heart, who is compassionate about the things she does and has the willingness and guts to do it, and that I admire. Along the way she has been Joe'D and have been Brenda'D, which has been both fun and scary(motorbikes). Basically there is not much to report beside the the glorious tour to Halong Bay and the scary motorbike day.
