Claim #6. Wernher von Braun collected the Apollo moon rocks on a trip to Antarctica. This is the first of two videos exploring Aron Ranen’s claim concerning the chief architect of the US space program. Here, we take a trip through the Wikipedia archives for the Wernher von Braun article and find when the verbiage was added for the alleged meteorite hunting expedition; when the author added a reference to a source article in Popular Science for that trip; and when the wording was changed to agree with that article by an anonymous contributor who actually read the original article and discovered there was no reference to meteorites in it. A link to the Popular Science article is presented here as evidence. This is yet another case of hoaxers trying to rewrite history.
