Anthony Hopkins confessed to Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday that "American Idol" is one of his favorite shows. On Wednesday the legendary actor explained his fascination with the program at 'The Rite''s Hollywood premiere."I think those kids who get up there and do that stuff are so brave and kind of crazy," said Hopkins. "And I think this new team as well is great, but they’re all fantastic ... I think it's a wonderful thing for young kids to get up and do. It takes a lot of courage. That's America, they do it."The Oscar winner's new movie, 'The Rite,' follows seminary student Michael Kovak (Colin O'Donoghue) as he travels to the Vatican to study exorcism, a practice that he is skeptical about until he meets Father Lucas (Hopkins), who draws him into a case that forces Michael to take exorcism more seriously.
