The times table for the number 7, set to a phat hip-hop beat. A big hit on YouTube. Load this video onto student Ipods to have them memorizing the times table in no time. Directions for students: 1. Watch the video, say the answers along with the track. The answers eventually fade out, both visually and aurally. 2. After watching the video, take a timed test. I usually give teenagers two minutes to complete 50 equations for a given number. Younger learners may require more time because they write more slowly. 3. Repeat until you get 100% on the timed test. 4. Take another timed test the following day and see how good your memory is!
