ＥＺニュースＥＸ、サービス開始

　朝日新聞社は１１日、テレビ朝日、ＫＤＤＩと共同で、ａｕ携帯電話に向けた新たな有料情報サービス「ＥＺニュースＥＸ」をスタートさせ、東京都港区のテレビ朝日本社内で開始式を開いた。　会場には携帯電話の画面を模したセットが用意され、サービス開始を告げる映像が流れた。様々な衣装をつけたテレビ朝日の女性アナウンサー５人が登壇。電波の届かない飲食店で困っている客にウエートレス姿でニュースＥＸを薦めるなど、生活シーンに即したサービスの特徴を映像を交えてＰＲした。　３社からは、神山郁雄・テレビ朝日常務が「広告市場が厳しい中、この新しいポータル事業を大きな柱に育てたい」、和気靖・朝日新聞社デジタルメディア担当が「利用者に心地いいサービスに向けて今日キックオフする」、高橋誠・ＫＤＤＩ常務が「テレビと新聞の協力を得て、『超速報』の情報を提供できるようになった」などとあいさつした。　ニュースＥＸは、地震速報の仕組みを使った「超速報」のほか、携帯電話が記事を自動受信して保存するため、記事を読むのにパケット通信がいらないことが特徴。地下鉄内やビル内など電波の圏外でも読める。　ニュース記事は最短３０分ごとにまとめて配信される。１日の記事量は、スポーツ、芸能も含め、計２００本以上にのぼる。豊富な情報を集めた「アサマガ」も毎朝配信される。
