Chocolate Chip Banana MuffinsRecipe courtesy Aria Kagan 4 ripe bananas, mashed1/3 cup melted unsalted butter1 cup sugar1/2 teaspoon vanilla1/2 teaspoon almond extract1 egg1 1/2 cups flour1 teaspoon cinnamon1 teaspoon baking sodaPinch salt INSTRUCTIONS:1/2 cup chocolate chips (I use semi sweet, but milk chocolate is yummy too)Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a standard 12 cup muffin pan ?Mix the bananas, butter, sugar, vanilla, almond extract and egg together. In a separate bowl mix theflour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Fold the flour mixture into the banana mixture, and finally fold inchocolate chips.Bake the muffins for 20 minutes (muffins), 10 minutes (mini muffins) and 35-40 min (loaf).A viewer, who may not be a professional cook, provided this recipe.
