Jinnah attachment with Pukhtoons

As father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah valued every community of Pakistan but not many in Pakistan know that he has a special attachment with the Pukhtoons and particularly the tribal people of the Khyber Pukhtunkhwa province, called North Western Frontier Province at that time. Jinnah demanded equal status like other provinces of the undivided India for KP in his famous fourteen points and visited the province three times in the last 12 years of his political career. Every time he gave enough time to visit Islamia College and Edwards College Peshawar and spent the day with the teachers and students of the two prestigious institutions. Another more valued gesture of Jinnah attachment with Pukkhtoons is that he devoted one third of his property for the well being of Islamia College Peshawar in his will writing in 1937.
