Good Friday Recap

This year instead of gathering everyone together in a big room to sing and teach the bible - we went out into our city to love people the way Jesus would have - by serving them with a sincere heart. 7:45am We had a team of people head out to a Refugee complex in Dallas to help put on the best Baby dedication we knew how for a Bhutanese family. It lasted pretty much all day at the apartment complex 12:00pm We had a team of people head out to serve a number of the homeless people that call Cornerstone their home (along with their friends). We ate, sang and taught the Bible all behind a Just Breaks building. It was amazing - and I’m not sure that word really captures what happened that day. 4:30pm We had 87 people from Cornerstone Rockwall show up at the Rockwall Nursing Center to sing some old school Hymns and read people the Easter story. For those who couldn't make it to the dinner hall that night we took the Word to them - sharing the Easter story bedside. Well done Cornerstone, well done!
