La 2ème DB : de l'Angleterre à Paris

Film consacré à la 2ème Division Blindée, commandée par le Général LECLERC, transportée en Angleterre en avril et mai 1944 en vue du Débarquement. La 2ème DB, rattachée au XVème Corps de la 3ème Armée Américaine du Général Patton, débarque sur la plage de Saint Martin de Varreville connue également sous le nom de "Utah Beach". De là, les hommes de LECLERC participent à la Campagne de Normandie. Après avoir vu de nombreuses fois le feu, libéré Alençon le 12 août 1944, la 2ème DB est autorisée par les américains à être la 1ère unité à entrer dans Paris.
