The Faith

This video has no commercial purpose. This is a video I made as an exercise for a film direction workshop that I was attending. It was an amazing experience that gave me the chance to understand what the word Cinema means. This video is a result of a genuine collaboration between the author and all the students and the teachers of the film direction workshop that I attended (first of all Giacomo Gatti and Giulio Pierrottet: they have been essential in the defining of the story and the director’s choices). Let's not forget Giorgio Miccolupi, the actor and almost co-director with whom I had more than a genuine collaboration. For the making of this video I used a small Mini-DV camera, my hands and a lot of paper. I decided to do everything in a real location and to emphasize the sounds and the noise. The final aim is to leave you with a question: why religion has become a stupid thing?
