Next Ronaldo/Ronaldinho 5 year old football/soccer star Pt. 2

5 year old (5 months) doing more little kid samba in the living room of our house (we call it the "soccer room" or "football room" to people not from the States). Brendan developed quite a few of the moves and drills in the video by building on moves he’s seen his favorite players do. He likes to mess around and be creative when he plays, and I encourage it because it helps develop ball familiarity and, most importantly at this age, he has fun doing it. He plays a lot of futsal, too, which develops his passing and trapping skills. The song is Bellini's Samba de Janeiro. It's a perfect song for Brendan because his Grandmother is from Germany and he loves the way Brasil plays. Brendan tries to emulate Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Maradona, and Cruyff, all of whom he watches on YouTube. He's also a fan of Rio Ferdinand, not only because he plays for United but also because he played for West Ham, which members of his favorite band (Iron Maiden) support. Brendan, who enjoys karate in addition to soccer, thinks that it's pretty cool that Ferdinand did ballet as well as football when he was young. He is becoming a pretty big fan of Nani, too. In this video, Brendan does a variation on a move he saw Nani do in an interview for #5 Magazine. His favorite clubs, like most young kids today without a team in their home cities, are Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid.
