The first of eight seasons ran in production for The WB beginning in 1998. Synopsis: The Halliwell sisters discover that they are descendants of a long line of witches when they inherit a house from their grandmother and find the family’s Book of Shadows. They learn that they each have a unique power. The strong-willed Prue Halliwell (Shannen Doherty) can move objects with her mind, reserved Piper Halliwell (Holly Marie Combs) is able to freeze time, and the uninhibited Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano) sees the future. Together they have the "Power of Three", which they must use to fight demons and warlocks, and protect the innocent.
