2010-10-25 1st Journal, Mayan day 9 The Road ♥ TRANSCRIPT: ♥ iTunes podcast ♥ Blip.tv channel Intro: Nine is a sacred number - very sacred. Today is 9 Road, according to the Mayan Tzolk’in calendar. Nine is a number of a certain sort of completion. There are no more digits coming after it. They all merely repeat and conjoin in various ways. Nine is labeled or titled Patience in the calendar exp0lanation I follow. That makes sense, in a way, for nine contains all previous numbers - has a large domain to survey. Nine is only the beginning of completion, however - not the end of it. For that the Maya have the numbers up to 13, their completion number. This marks an interesting difference in the Gregorian calendar system, where completion is 12. Number is sacred - deeply sacred. It is or can be seen as the language of God, of Source, of Prime Creator, if you will. All that we see is based in and founded on number. It pays to be alert to this - to at least be aware. Those things we are aware of - they begin to speak to us. They have always been speaking. We just were in ignorance - insensitive to their language, even their presence in our midst.
