Great Expectations - Young Men

Seeking to further amplify the instructions given in the previous message, Great Expectations, this sermon focuses on one of the four specific people groups. Older men, older women, younger women and younger men are addressed in Titus 2:1-10. Because the instructions for each of these groups is hugely important in our day, each group will be the focus of its own message. Young men have the privilege of health, strength, drive and vision. The Christian young man (loosely defined as men between the ages of 18 and 57) must use all these attributes of his strength to bring glory to Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many among us have invested these components in their own pursuits. God’s word in Titus 2:6-8 focuses directly on the call of young men to live purposefully for Jesus. This message pulls no punches and gives a clear charge for Christian men to resume their place in the Kingdom of God and seek to right the ship. Ladies and older men should not skip over this message. Their lives will be impacted also when young men rise to the great expectation that God has for them.
