[뉴스웨이TV] 아프간 파병동의안 국회 통과 : 가결,국군,국회,민주당,본회의,아프가니스탄,아프간,파견,파병,한나라당ㆍ영상길이 : 03:05ㆍ등록자 : 뉴스웨이ㆍ등록일시 : 2010.02.25 (17:07) 【촬영=뉴스웨이 생생TV / 이인수 기자】(서울=뉴스웨이 윤미숙 기자) 국회는 25일 본회의를 열어 '국군부대의 아프가니스탄 파병 동의안을 통과시켰다.여야는 이날 본회의에서 치열한 찬반토론 끝에 아프간 파병동의안을 표결에 부쳐 재석 163명 중 찬성 148명, 반대 5명, 기권 10명으로 가결시켰다. 이 과정에서 민주당 의원들은 아프간 파병동의안 처리에 반대하며 표결 시 본회의장에서 전원 퇴장했다.동의안에 따르면 파병 규모는 350여명 이내로, 오는 7월 1일부터 2012년 12월 31일까지 아프간 파르완주에서 한국 지방재건팀(PRT)의 경호·경비를 담당하게 된다. 표결에 앞선 찬반토론에서 한나라당은 6.25 전쟁 당시 우리나라도 국제사회의 도움을 받은 바 있다는 점 등을 들어 파병을 주장한 반면, 민주당 등 야당은 아프간 현지의 위험성을 지적하며 파병 반대 의견을 피력했다.한나라당 김동성 의원은 "파르완주는 상대적으로 안전한 지역이다. 물론 전쟁 중이니 경우에 따라 위험한 일이 벌어질 수는 있겠지만, 위험해도 할 일은 해야 한다"면서 "대한민국은 위험하다고 해서 타국으로부터 받았던 도움을 헌신짝처럼 내팽개치는 나라가 아니다"라고 반박했다. 같은당 정옥임 의원도 "한국전쟁 당시 이디오피아는 6천명을 파병해 전란의 화마에서 우리를 구했고, 미국, 영국, 필리핀, 태국, 콜럼비아 등의 나라들도 그들의 젊은이들을 우리나라에 보냈다"며 "국제사회는 홀로 살아갈 수 없다. 단물만 빼먹고 책임은 외면하는 대한민국을 국제사회가 어떻게 기억할 것이라고 보느냐"고 반문했다.민주당 강창일 의원은 "아프간 파병은 이슬람권 국가 전체를 적으로 만드는 위험한 결정이고, 국민적 합의도 불충분하다"며 "국격론과 의리론을 명분으로 파병을 주장하는데, 국격을 생각한다면 파병을 철회하고 그 돈으로 경제에 지원하는 방안을 모색해야 한다"고 주장했다. 민주노동당 곽정숙 의원은 "지금 아프간은 탈레반이 영토의 80%를 장악하고 있으며 UN 직원 조차 대규모로 철수하고 외국군 사망자가 늘어가는 등 전황이 악화되고 있다"며 파병 반대 의사를 ...
