東京電力、8月末の電力供給力を5,560万kWに下方修正 余力は60万kWに
東京電力は1日、電力需要が増す夏場の電力の状況について会見し、8月末の供給力を5,560万kWに下方修正した。午後2時半ごろ、東京電力の藤本副社長は「8月の数字を見ますと、60万kWくらいしか予備がなく、非常に厳しい状況が続いております」と述べた。東京電力は、7月末の供給力を火力発電所の復旧の前倒しなどで、5,680万kWと前回5月の発表から上方修正した。しかし8月末は、西日本の電力会社からの電力の融通分を除いたため、5,560万kWに下方修正した。東京電力は、夏場の需要を最大で5,500万kWと見込んでいて、8月では60万kWしか余力がないことになる。藤本副社長は、計画停電を原則行わない方針をあらためて明言したうえで、節電への協力を呼びかけた。
