Jut Wynne jugging Out of A Cave in the Mojave Desert

I’m jugging out of a cave skylight. I'm about 35 feet from the cave floor. Wise cracks were provided graciously from various team members. This video was captured on the last day of our February 2008 expedition to deploy temperature and barometric pressure instruments in caves in the Mojave Desert, southern California. This expedition was part of a three year study to understand and model the temperature characteristics of caves on earth, and then apply those technologies to finding caves on the moon and Mars. Our purpose was to collect hourly data from the instruments so that we can characterize the temperature differences between the surface rock, the cave entrance and at numerous points along the length of the cave. This information will later be related to aircraft-borne thermal imagery that we collected in April 2011.
