Bploh’s travel blog entry: "So we are still alive and we are still on the beautiful island of Santorini! yesterday we parked ourselves on the beach pretty much all day after a much needed sleep in....it was goregous...black sand pebble beaches and waves that you can actually body surf on...(the waves won alot though and we have some minor minor injuries to prove it) but it was so fun... today we are heading up to the capital city, Fira, to see what is there...probably take some pictures and then have a late lunch and then return to the call of the beach! tomorrow we are going on a excursion to the caldera, Oia and other famous parts of the island that is on special because of the off season...seriously we are loving the off season here...it's still almost unbearably hot and everything is 25-75 % less than the high season... On monday we are moving on and going to visit a more traditional island of Folegandros the place is so small there aren't any hostels online but our hotel manager assures us we will have no issue finding a place to stay....we'll stay there one or two nights and move on to Milos for four or so nights (it's famous for it's secluded cave beaches ) and then a one day stop in Sifnos to pass the time before our flight back to London and ultimately home.....I'm already getting sad that I will have to leave this ...
