Chrisandem’s travel blog entry: "We got to Sihanoukville at lunchtime after getting a mini bus from Kampot. We met a French guy in our guest house at Kampot who had forgotten to give back his room key from a guest house he was staying at in Sihanoukville so asked us if we could take back the key for him and highly recommended the guest house so we went straight there. The guest house was called HooHa and was brilliant. It was Western run and the guys working there were great and the room was really nice with hot shower, cable tv and wifi in the room for $8 - bargain! Sihanoukville is on the South coast of Cambodia and is the major beach destination of the country. It is a big city and has a number of different beaches surrounding it, the main beach is the Serendipity- Occheutal beach which was where we were staying. After checking in we headed straight to Serendipity beach and chilled there for the rest of the afternoon. We were totally impressed by the beach, the sand was so white and fine and the water was crystal clear, not what we were expecting for some reason. The beach was really busy though, we couldn't even find a space to put our sarongs as the beach is just lined with bars and sun loungers everywhere.
