Dayton Podiatrist - Mike Jones, DPM Dr. Mike Jones is originally from Steubenville, Ohio. Dr. Jones is a graduate from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He obtained his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Jones completed a three year residency from the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2005, focusing on forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery. In this intensive program, Dr. Jones' training focused on the most current technologies used to treat common hard and soft tissue deformities. His residency program gave intensive instruction on reconstructive diabetic forefoot, midfoot and rearfoot deformities, arthroscopy, ilizarov external fixation and trauma of the foot and ankle. Dr. Jones specializes in conservative and surgical management of both the foot and ankle. Dr. Jones participated in collegiate football as a place kicker. He developed his interest in Podiatry and sports medicine after suffering a fractured ankle. Dr. Jones is a member of the following organizations: American Podiatric Medical Association, Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
