_After School With Joe_ Joe: *To Nick* Bro, can you take me to Demi’s house right now? I wanna see how shes feeling. Nick: Sure. Give me the address and we'll get going. Joe: I'll just tell you which direction to drive in instead. Addresses are boring. Nick: Fine. *Gets in the car and listens to Joe's directions* _When they Get To Demi's House_ Joe: *Gets out of the car* Thanks for driving me here. I'll meet you at home. Nick: Ok. Bye. *Drives away* Joe's POV I walked up the path to Demi's porch. I found a crinkled up green colored post it on the ground. Before ringing the doorbell, I picked it up and read it whispering the note to myself. "Demi, I'm coming home late tonight. I have to work extra hours today. Sorry! But I put some left overs in the microwave for you. See you in the morning!" I was pretty sure it was her mothers handwriting. And Demi had to be inside of her house. Just resting waiting for her back to get better. I rang the doorbell and stood on the porch for another few seconds. Slowly, the doorknob handle turned and I saw Ms. Justice (Victoria's mom) standing at the door with tears running down her cheeks. "Have you seen Demi?" she asked me. That question made me worry. "Isn't she with you?" I picked up the post it showing it to her. "She had to have had her house key. Or where else would she be?" Then I got it. Demi could have been anywhere. Manny's house. Wondering in the street....Kidnapped for all the little she has. "She isn't here! I came home early ...
