Mum’s Tattoo Parlour from the White Ribbon Alliance The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood is at Glastonbury with the Mum's Tattoo Parlour for a second year running. We are giving festival-goers the chance to give the ultimate tribute to mums all over the world with two classic (temporary) tattoo designs The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood (WRA) is an international organisation campaigning for an end to the needless maternal deaths all over the world. It is a global scandal that millions of women and newborn babies die or suffer severe injury during childbirth every year — despite the fact that the vast majority of these injuries and deaths are preventable. The Mums tattoo parlour is a part of Glastonbury Festival's range of "good causes" so please come and show your support at our tent in The Park (next to the House of Fairy Tales). You will also be able to send postcards home to your mum and buy a "mother lover" t-shirt the next big thing in men's fashion for 2010! Official Opening, Friday Morning 11am We are inviting all pregnant mums at Glastonbury to help us officially open the tattoo parlour with a photo shoot on the Friday morning (25th June) at 11am. Free tea and brownies for all the mums that attend.
